Precipita un aereo: oltre 40 morti, tra loro anche 7 bambini

Una tragedia che ha colpito la capitale del Sud Sudan, Giuba, dove un aereo cargo russo con a bordo 5 membri dell’equipaggio e sette passeggeri è precipitato uccidendo circa 40 persone a terra, di cui 7 sono probabilmente bambini.

L’aereo, un Antonov 12 è precipitato poco dopo il decollo e secondo quanto riportato dall’emittente Radio Miraya che aveva un suo collaboratore sul posto, i cadaveri sono 40 e soltanto due persone sarebbero sopravvissute. Restano sconosciute le cause dell’incidente, ma secondo le prime informazioni la sciagura sarebbe iniziata a circa 800 metri dall’aeroporto di Juba mentre il velivolo si dirigeva a Paloich, nella regione dell’Alto Nilo. 

Secondo quanto riportato da TgCom24: “L’aereo potrebbe non appartenere a una compagnia russa, come si era pensato inizialmente, ma ad una armena in quanto nessuna delle compagnie aeree russe impegnate nel trasporto di carichi in questa regione ha confermato la perdita di un proprio velivolo o” ha dichiarato “che l’aereo che si è schiantato apparteneva a qualcuna di loro”.
